My name is Emily, and I am a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who values building relationships and empowering the individuals in our communities. My mission is to create a meaningful impact on the lives I encounter and the communities I serve. 

I pride myself on being a people person who leads by example and doesn’t hesitate to roll up her sleeves. I am an intrinsically motivated and creative person with a passion for strategic communications. I believe in giving others the tools they need with the platform to learn and grow, always giving credit before taking it. At my core, I am a helper, a doer, and a good human.

my experiences.

With a liberal arts degree in communications from Bethany College, WV, I went on to obtain an MBA from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

While pursuing my MBA, my desire to work in the sports industry led me to a marketing internship with the Pittsburgh Steelers, setting me up for a 10-year career in the NFL.

In 2017, I transitioned from the NFL and moved to Miami to take a chance on new opportunities. In doing so, both the personal and professional growth I have experienced has been invaluable. I have had the opportunity to hold management roles in industries that include quick-service restaurants, healthcare, commercial real estate, professional services, finance, nonprofit, hospitality, and fitness.
