In coordination with Slow Food Miami, The Brick American Kitchen & Bar adopted Leewood K-8 Center to create an outdoor learning environment & help reconnect the students with their food through The Brick School Garden Project. Click HERE.

This brunch meets rooftop yoga event was held outdoors at the Shops at Kenilworth and benefited BARCS Animal Shelter, Animal Allies Rescue Foundation (AARF) and Show Your Soft Side. Click HERE.
Touchdown For Teachers
In 2014 Emily worked alongside presenting sponsor M&T Bank to develop the annual Touchdown for Teachers program that recognizes Maryland teachers for outstanding service to their schools and communities. Click HERE.
Verizon Wireless #PassItForward
Established in 2013, Emily worked alongside presenting sponsor Verizon Wireless to develop a season-long initiative where members of the Baltimore Ravens surprise fans through random acts of kindness at various Baltimore-area locations. Click HERE
NFL Super Bowls
During her time in the NFL, Emily assisted the Pittsburgh Steelers in their PR efforts leading up to and including two Super Bowls in 2008 and 2010 (XLIII, XLV), and was requested by the NFL PR Office to assist the league in media relations for the 2009 AFC Championship Game. Emily was also a part of the Baltimore Ravens 2012 winning Super Bowl season (XLVII).
Softies on the Hot Seat
When the pandemic hit, it made it nearly impossible for Show Your Soft Side to engage with their community and educate youth on the importance of showing compassion to animals. Emily created the Instagram Live Series Softies on the Hot Seat and hosts a monthly live Q&A session with the SYSS softies. United Way Hometown Huddle
Get kids outside & moving! Each season, Emily organized the annual TEAM Challenge at M&T Bank Stadium as part of the NFL & United Way Hometown Huddle program. Students participated in challenges such as kickball, relay races and ultimate football under the guidance of Playworks Baltimore. Click HERE.

Breast Cancer Awareness
During her time at the Ravens, Emily assumed the responsibility of the team’s ongoing Breast Cancer Awareness efforts that included a variety of initiaives. In 2015, Emily created the first Sip ‘N Paint Night, an annual event held in the suite level of M&T Bank Stadium for those who are currently battling or have overcome breast cancer. Click HERE.
My Cause My Cleats
Emily spearheads the Show Your Soft Side’s My Cause My Cleats efforts through partnerships with NFL players. Players have included Lawrence Guy (Patriots), Torrey Smith (Panthers), Tyler Matakevich (Steelers), Nick Boyle (Ravens), Logan Ryan (Titans), Ryan Jensen (Buccaneers). Fundraising efforts include game ticket giveaways, community activations with local animal shelters, and auctions, all promoted through a social media campaign. Click HERE.
Ravens Logo & Slogan
When Emily joined the Baltimore Ravens, she aimed to increase the awareness of the amazing work the players and team were doing in the community. She then created the community relations department’s first logo, slogan and Twitter account. The logo and slogan are still used today on all of the team’s community promotions and the @RavensCommunity Twitter account has grown to nearly 20K followers.
GamePlanEarth
In 2013 Emily developed the GamePlanEarth (GPE) season-long initiative established and led by the Ravens to help make Baltimore a more sustainable city. Through activations and collaboration with environmental nonprofits, the team aimed to further inform fans about growing environmental challenges and encourage them to recycle, reuse and conserve. Following every season, the community relations department of the Baltimore Ravens designed a scrapbook that encompassed the hours and resources devoted to the community. Click HERE to see the 2015 scrapbook that details the team’s annual programs.
#FeedTheFlock
Each season Emily worked alongside the Maryland Food Bank to orchestrate the Ravens’ annual food drive and hunger relief efforts. In addition, she created the “Outweigh the O-Line” and #FeedTheFlock promotions. Over the course of five seasons, the estimated donations raised was 135,000 lbs of food, totaling nearly half a million meals. Click HERE.
Mayor Suarez & WeWork
Emily was the on-the-ground contact and assisted the WeWork public relations team based in New York for a press conference in January 2021 when WeWork CEO Sandeep Mathrani and Mayor Francis Suarez announced an extended commitment to the City of Miami’s long-term partnership with WeWork. Through WeWork, businesses relocating to or expanding in the City of Miami will have access to enhanced memberships and special discounts.
